My recent trip to..........

It was the 3rd of February 2014. Based on the Lunar calendar, it was “Chu 4” . It meant the 4^th day of Chinese New Year. So, my family suggested to have a one-day-trip to :

Such a cooling and refreshing place =)

Once we reached, we visited the Chin Swee temple. It did change a lot when compared to the last time we had visited. Facilities like lifts were built for convenience, especially for those aged people. With the facility that provided, they could just utilize the lift instead of walking up there by their own efforts. Thus, here are some pictures that I had taken on that day :

CRAZY moments with sister and brother. The most trustable and reliable person to be with.

 Another thing that was quite memorable for me was : My very first time in playing bowling. 

Since my parents went to the casino for gambling, you know, it was some kinds of the traditional culture during Chinese New Year,perhaps? Haha.. so up to boredom, we decided to have 3 rounds of bowling battle.

Too bad, there was one member left, my eldest sister. She went to U.K for her master further studies. ='(

Since this was my first time playing, I really didn't know how to play and I only got 1 or 3 points. It was so embarrassing. 

However, it was still a fun and interesting game to play and I wished there would be more chances  for me play in the future. 

Although it was just a short family one-day-trip, I could feel the warmth and love from my family.
I enjoyed, cherished and appreciated every moment with them,

and I am so grateful that I am the daughter of my dad and mom.

My 5 Favourite Things

              One of my favourite thing is my pamper pet dog. My family and I call it as HAPPY. It was a stray dog raw at first and then we kept it as pet. Although it is a stray dog,it is previous than any other dogs for me. When it still was a puppy, it was covered by dark brown fur and its fur getting lighter and lighter when it grown up. Recall back, it was a puppy which hate to stay inside his dog cage. It even could escape from his dog cage just through a small hole. How impressive was that ?! Haha.. I didn't know whether to cry or to laugh. It was just way too cute to see it doing in that way. Another best memory it brings to me was the first time I brought it out for a walk. When we were enjoying our outing, suddenly a big dog ran towards us, HAPPY was scared and quickly ran to my back and asked for help with its innocent look. Awww.. so cute! Furthermore, I trained it with many different skills. For instance, shaking hand, sitting down and so on. Cant deny that it is a fierce and responsible dog on guarding our house. Our safety has been guaranteed by having HAPPY in our house.

                 The next favourite thing of mine is my little pillow. All right, it may looks like an ordinary, old and ugly small pillow to all of you. However, it means super warm for me! I used it since I was a child. I need it to accompany me asleep on every night. Without it, I can’t sleep well at night. I know, it may sounds so immature but this is me. All the time when I am going for vacation, no matter it is a long or short vacation, I will bring it a long FOR SURE. It is just like my family! I know it is a little bit crazy or creepy for you? Haha. My mom does always ask me, ‘When would you stop using it?’ I can’t give a confirm answer all the time! All I know is the rest of the girls could like teddy bear but for me, my little pillow could be my favourite stuff for all the time!

              My third favourite thing are roses. I love to enjoy the beauty of flowers especially roses. If possible, I wish I could have a view of a sea of roses. ROSE, the symbol of  love, symbol of good luck, symbol of beauty. How fascinating is this.. right? Besides, the different colours of roses always attract me the most and each colour represent different meanings.

Red roses represent love and respect. The message 'I Love You' is best served by sending red roses.

Dark pink roses represent  appreciation and gratitude. The message 'Thank You' is best served by sending dark pink roses.

Light pink roses represent admiration and sympathy. It symbolizes beauty and grace.

Yellow roses represent happiness and  friendship. We can send it as a gift to our friends during friendship day. It symbolizes happiness for everybody.

White roses represent purity innocent, loyalty, remembrance. We can use it to promote purity at special occasions.

Purple roses represent enchantment and enthralment. The purple rose conveys a meaning that is widely used for enthralment for first impression. This also makes it a favourite for Valentine's day.





               My next favourite thing is my watch. I love collecting watches. There was a time I had four watches at once! Too bad, 2 of them spoilt not long ago. Now, I left 2 with me. Whenever I am shopping around at shopping complexes, I would love to have a look at those nice watches that displayed at the front of those watch shops. I love different kinds of watches no matter they are digital watches or analogs. Furthermore, I have a habit to wear watch every day. I used to look at my watch to get to know the time. If I were to forget to wear my watch, I would look at my wrist several times on that day. So, I wish I could buy as many watches as I can since I am a watch lover!

               The fifth favourite thing of mine is collecting tumbler. Hmm.. actually I don’t have this habit when I was young. It just started a few years ago. I received my very first Starbucks tumbler as my birthday gift. Since that day, I found that these little things were so cute and attractive, especially tumbler with Starbucks designs. There are many different Starbucks-designed tumblers and some of them are limited edition. They might be designed for a theme which are related to some special days like Valentine's Day, Christmas and so on. Another special design of the tumbler I was received was from a friend who studied oversea. This tumbler is so precious because it is from one of the special state collection of Starbucks. As I know, each country or state has its own design for Starbucks tumbler with its county or state name written on the tumbler and I have ONE!! I think I know why Starbucks fans are so crazy in collecting those special designed tumbler. Besides of its special designs, it is also special in the way that it comes to me with my friend’s concern all the way from Australia. I'm so grateful that I have this sweet friend in my life.

                Seriously, these tumblers are so meaningful for me. Each comes to me and warms my heart with its own special meaning.

The 3 Important Lessons that I Have Learnt In My life

                Throughout my life, I have learnt few lessons that are worth for me to persist on them. These lessons are just like the guidance which give me directions to show me the correct ways to do all the things that I want to do. First thing is, ‘Never Judge A Book by Its Cover’. This sentence literally means that we do not judge the content of a book by seeing its cover. Attractive book covers do not mean that the books are worth to read and the contents are valuable.  It may be boring and meaningless. On the other hand, a simple and plain book cover may bring out some valuable contents that benefit to the readers.  When we see someone dress in simple we cannot look down and not to respect them. They might be some humble rich men or the high educational level people. In a nutshell, we should respect people no matter however they dress up themselves as long as they had good personalities.

                Secondly, the next lesson that I have learnt in my life is ‘Every cloud has a silver lining’. When something bad is happening on us, there will be some good things in it too. We do not have to be too disappointed or pessimistic.  Things will get well soon. For example, when we are sick, we may suffer from our sickness but at the same time we are receiving the love and care from our family. I still remembered I had high fever on last semester. I couldn't even walk properly. All I could do is lying on bed. At that time, my mum was taking care of me sincerely. Because of that, I had more precious time to stay with my mom. I appreciated and cherished it lot. So, here is a short animation clip which contains a song that conveys the meaning of  'Every cloud has a silver lining' . Isn't it cool? ;) 

                   

                    To be rich, it does not mean that how many digits in your bank account or how many credit cards you have with you or how you can spend in thousands of dollars overnight. Instead the term of 'rich', it can be referenced in other situations. This quote, "Rule Your Mind or It will Rule You" tells us that what we have with us now does not show how rich we are but the true side in everyone of us. How colourful of the term 'rich' can only emerge from our heart and present it to the world. Claiming how rich is one when standing in the crowd, such as rich with knowledge or rich with positive principles or rich with family love which intentionally will present and outshine how rich one person is.

Where I’ll be In 10 Years’ Time ...

Where I'll be in 10 years' time later? I’m currently 21 now, 10 years later I shall be 31 years old by then. Wow, that’s quite old for a female! Should be a mom by that time. Haha. However, that’s not my main concern. I am quite an ambitious girl I can say. I wish to be a CEO in a listed company. Wow. Isn’t it great? I wish to earn as much money as I can. The money I earn will give to my parents to ensure them to have a secure and enjoyable life after their retirement. After that, I will save it for emergency usage. Moreover, I will donate some of the money to those people that need it.

                Other that getting a desire occupation, I wish to go for a vacation regularly. I want to use the money that I earn to go for all those places that I love. I enjoy western lifestyles so much until I wish to go there once I am capable of. The very first place that I wish to go is London. London Big Ben and London’s Eye are the must places to go! Here is a link that will guide you about what you can do during your travels in London. =) Things To Do In London. After that are Paris and New York. By the age of 31, I should be able to go by my own ability. 

With the money that I earn, I wish to buy my dream house and car. The house must be full of glasses and painted in white. This will be so clean and neat. White is simple and pure for me. So, I will furnish my
house mostly in white. My dream car is a white Lamborghini! White car and house, how pretty is that!

                10 years later, I wish my life could reach my desire status which I have a peaceful and wonderful life. I wish my friends and family could get whatever they wish to too.
